I received the very sad news of the passing away of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait. On behalf of the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency, Government and people of Kuwait.
May Allah, the Almighty, rest his soul in peace and grant strength and patience to the family of His Highness, Your Excellency and the people of Kuwait to bear this irreparable loss.
