According to the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), Meisam Amiri, director of projects at PGPIC, underlined the above, saying in construction of Bidboland Gas Refinery, PGPIC, petrochemical holding company, would build complementary industries in order to complete the value chain and generate more profits.

Once operational, the refinery will supply feedstock for several petrochemical plants, Amiri said.

PGPIC is also considering several other petrochemical projects in the country including an MEG plant as well as Songhor Petrochemical Project which is being developed for supplying compounds and downstream petrochemical feedstock.
