MOGPC is one of the subsidiaries of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) which handles over 80 percent of Iran’s total crude oil production.

Other NISOC subsidiaries are Karoun Oil and Gas Exploitation Company, Masjed Soleyman Oil and Gas Company, Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company, and Aghajari Exploitation Company.
