According to ICANA, the official, during a visit to Japan said on Tuesday that Iran was prepared to receive investments from Japan in various sectors including oil, gas and petrochemicals.
During a meeting with the speaker and members of the Japanese House of Councillors, Mr. Larijani said there existed ample opportunities for taking major steps in bolstering Iran-Japan ties, adding some countries might be seeking disruptions in the relations between Tehran and Tokyo which should not be permitted.
He said Iranian viewed Japan positively, adding, “We are eager to work with you in various technical, industrial and commercial sectors.”
For his part, Chuichi Date, Speaker of the House of Councillors of the Japanese National Diet in Tokyo, said the cultural and economic relations between the two countries were expected to grow in the future.
