According to IRNA, the official said the Rouhani administration was seeking to continue enjoying benefits of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), adding, "Politically speaking, the Americans are lonely and isolated and the Islamic Republic of Iran is in a position where, except for two or three countries, all the countries have supported Iran's stance."

"We are striving to resolve the country's economic problems as well as people's by relying on domestic potentialities," the official added, saying, "The country has vast potentialities, but what matters is that we must be able to tap all our resources."  

He said so far no restrictions have emerged in Europe's oil purchases from Iran, adding, while a number of European private companies have pulled out of the country, the results of their exit have not been very determining so far.
