According to RIPI, Hamid Reza Aghbozorg said the event was being held jointly by RIPI and the Iranian NanoTechnology Society and would be held at RIPI's international conference hall.  

He said the Iranian NanoTechnology Society has so far held 6 conferences at the universities of Tarbiat Modares, University, Kashan, Shiraz, Tabriz and Kharazmi.

Aghbozorg further added that articles submitted to the event will be presented either orally or in posters, adding the interested researchers would send their works to the conference secretariat by August 17.

He also said that 6 workshops would be held on the sidelines of the event on topics like commercialization of patents and patent registration.

The official further added that keynote speakers from such countries as Australia, Spain, Portugal and the US were invited to the event.
