According to the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) public relations, the 20 facilities operating at Mahshahr petrochemical Zone in the southwestern province of Khuzestan supplied 2.9 mt of petrochemicals during the period, NIPNA reported.

Moreover, the plants operating at Assaluyeh supplied 3.8 million tons of products.

Besides, the 20 other petrochemical complexes being run in other parts of the country provided 1.8 million tons of products. 

Export of 3.6 million tons of petrochemicals fetched over $2.229 billion in revenues for the country during the two months.
