TEHRAN, Dec. 05 (Shana) – Managing Director of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) Bijan Alipour says his company's production will rise up to 30,000 barrels per day.

Alipour told Shana that in the coming months, 20,000 to 30,000 barrels will be added to the daily production of the NISOC and its oil output will exceed three million barrels per day.

"Current daily production of the company stands at 2.980 million and in case of securing of necessary finances, new records in the production will be recorded."

The official then hailed "valuable and unprecedented" OPEC achievements in its November 30 session and said agreement to the share of Iran in the production at a time when other members had to cut their output is "unprecedented", while being the result of perseverance of the Islamic Republic of Iran to restore its denied rights. It is also the sign of competency of the Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh in OPEC related regulations and principles."
