Iran 5-Month Gas Condensate Exports Hit $3.598bn in Revenues

TEHRAN, Aug 29 (Shana) – Export of over 8.7 million tons of gas condensates recovered from South Pars gas field fetched the country $3.598 billion in the first five months of this Iranian year of 1395 (2016-17), up 114% in weight and 76% in value.

Director General of the Customs office in Pars Energy Economic Special Zone Ahmad Pour-Heydar says 12,202,637 tons of non-oil commodities, worth $5.564 billion were also exported in the period.

Pour-Heydar said in the first five months of this year more than 20.908 million tons of goods,  including gas condensates, light and heavy polyethylene, butane, propane, mono and de-ethyelen glycol , butadane, methanol, paraxyelene, ortoxylene, polypropyelen, monomer styrene, naptha, ammonia, urea and rafinite, worth more than $9.162 billion, were exported.
