Min. Assigns Adviser to Probe into Medication of Accident Victims

TEHRAN, July 26 (Shana) – Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh has assigned his Social Affairs Adviser Amir Talebian to probe into an accident on Assalouyeh-Jam Road which injured a number of the South Pars Gas Complex staff.

In the incident the SPGC bus, 15 of the staff were aboard, suffered the accident in the road. Eight of the injured received outpatient treatment, three were hospitalized in Kangan and Jam hospitals as one of them was discharged on Monday. Two more have been dispatched to Shiraz Central Hospital for treatment.

Per the Minister’s decree, Talebian will look into the issue by mobilizing all facilities to that end. 

“Fortunately good facilities are available in Shiraz for treatment of the injured and we will provide the assurance that Ministry of Petroleum will be supportive of all the injured until their full recovery,” said Talebian.
