28m Cubic Meters of Gas Extracted from SP Phase 19 in 2 Years

TEHRAN, July 18 (Shana) – The operator of Phase 12 of South Pars Gas Field Rasoul Fallahnejad said on Monday that as much as 28 billion cubic meters of gas and 35 million barrels of gas condensates have been extracted from the phase since its operation two years ago.

Fallahnejad told a group of oil industry officials that taking each barrel of gas condensate sold for 50 dollars and each cubic meter of gas for 10 cents, the facility has earned 4.5 billion dollars in all in two years.

He said for the time being, 60 million cubic meters of gas is daily extracted from the phase and the private sector has a share of 66 percent in the total.
