Akhound said for the time being the market for renting of tanker s, especially the VLCC ones, is balanced but as of 2018 the charges will start going high.
He said based on the statistics available and number of orders registered in construction of new tankers, it seems that as of 2018, global fleets will follow sluggish growth and number of incoming oil tankers will not be equal with the rate of demand.
