Trader: Petrochemical Industries Account for Highest Comparative Advantage

Tehran, July 17 (Shana) – Member of the Industries and Mines Committee of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Mehdi Sharifi Nik-Nafas said on Saturday that petrochemical industries account for highest comparative advantage of the country.

Nik-Nafas told Shana that however, governments in Iran have been focusing on the auto manufacturing industries, which have been source of high fuel consumption both in the region and the world.

He said optimal use of sophisticated tools for marketing and sale, the support of government and related institutions for specialization of commercial activities and development of the logistic fleet would to a large extent solve problems with the petrochemical industries.
