Italian Companies to Sign MoU with Iran for Green Energy Cooperation

TEHRAN, July 16 (Shana) – Dr. Davood Nadim, Head of Investment workgroup of the 1st World Conference of Mayors and Councilors 2016 and the 3rd International Congress on Municipal Management, said on Saturday that Italian companies are willing to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Iran in green energies, cleaning the polluted environments, pollutants' removal and control, investment, financing and financial security.

Nadim said countdown has begun for conclusion of contract for joint investment with foreign companies.

He said presence of 12 countries in the investment negotiation hall is definite and for any country a seat has been specified.

He said 12 Italian companies attending the current Conference have announced readiness for signing a deal with Iranian municipalities to have cooperation in green energies, cleaning polluted environments, pollutant control, Italian chain restaurants' establishment, financing and investment, energy investment, metals, sewage management, mining and stones, strategic management in tourism, urban management smart network, smart taxi system, bicycle and urban construction.
He added that 17 Turkish companies are also to have cooperation in urban development projects, including tourist and tourism.
