Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanaganeh in separate messages to Governor General of Khouzestan Province Gholamreza Shariati and Managing Director of National Petrochemical Company Marzieh Shadaie on Sunday thanked them and all other officials involved in containing the fire.

Zanganeh's message to Shariati and Shahdaie reads, "On the mission the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has entrusted to me to thank all managers, officials in charge and devoted firefighters, who had a role in extinguishing recent fire in Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Plant , please inform all the colleagues on the issue in the best possible manner. While thanking the Supreme Leader for his paternal and generous favor and while wishing health and long life for His Excellency, I would like to pray God Almighty for health of all those contributing to the collective effort and wish them growing success."
