Development of Joint Oil Fields Top Priority: NIOC

TEHRAN, June 13 (Shana) -- Development of joint oil and gas fields are still top priorities, newly appointed Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ali Kardor said on Monday.

He underlined continuation of development policies in the oil and gas sector during the post-Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action era.

The official hailed the achievements made in increase of production and export of oil and its products after the nuclear deal reached between Iran and G5+1.

He urged all staff and officials in the NIOC to do their best to help the company to achieve the position it deserves in world.

Completion of South Pars development project and West Karoun oil fields are top priority of the NIOC in order to accomplish the targeted goal of increasing the oil and gas production, Kardor added.

Iran’s Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh appointed Kardor as the new managing director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for a course of two years, Shana reported on Sunday.
