DYM Eager to Form Partnerships in Iran

TEHRAN, May 14 (Shana) -- Project Manager of DYM Resources Ltd. Denis Varaksin said his company is focused on developing markets like Russia and Turkmenistan but has started cooperation with Iran and is keen to expand its presence in the OPEC-member Asian state.

He said his company is eyeing to develop its markets in Europe and Turkey and has carried out a trial deal with an Iranian base oil company and is waiting to see the result of the deal.

Speaking on the sidelines of a conference held by Argus in Tehran on base oils, Varaskin said, "We just started a cooperation with Sepahan and we are here to see what other options are here."

He said DYM has no problem with money transfer in Iran and has found a way to solve the issue, but removal of sanctions would be very helpful in this regard.

"So, to start now is difficult but we want to develop it," he said. "We want to prepare for that period."

He said: "We prefer to work with partners in Iran in a transparent manner and establish relations with major producers."

DYM Resources have local focus on Russia, Central Asia and Europe but its international team is working on diversifying its business to Middle East, Africa, America and Asia.

It offers services on trading of base oils, slack wax, petroleum coke and oil chemical products.
