Speaking to Shana on the sidelines of the 21st Iran International Exhibition of Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals, Azari said end of sanctions should not encourage consumerism and less domestic products.
He said end of sanctions has some strong and weak points. The strong points are better international relations and access to latest information and securing parties, he added.
The weak points, however, are growing mania of foreign products’ imports instead of relying on domestic products and inflow of foreign companies to gain Iranian market.
“Buying wisely and behaving based on the existing standards of the country and macro policies of ministry, we will be able to use the ongoing conditions in the best possible manner," said the official, adding that this year’s exhibition is better than those held in the past 10 to 15 years and foreigners have dramatically welcomed it.
