V-FLO says Iranian Market is now more Attractive

TEHRAN, May 5, (Shana) -- Kingston Wen from the V-FLO Group Companies from China says today Iranian market is now more attractive to foreign investors.

Speaking to Shana on the sidelines of the 21st Iran’s International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, he said that in compare to previous exhibitions, this edition is much more active.

“We have been working in the Iranian oil and gas market for the last 18 years”, he added.

The official said that “We have been very much active in the upstream pipeline, pump stations, and also the downstream refineries like south pars phase.

“We have supplied Iranian projects especially during sanctions era and we worked hard with Iranian partners,” he added.

Kingston Wen noted that “We love Iranian people and the removal of sanctions give us more opportunity to expand cooperation with Tehran.”

He said: “Removal of sanctions is a big opportunity for Chinese companies because they can expand ties with a lovely nation with a big market.”

The official referred to damages caused by the sanctions and said because a lot of works needs to be done in Iran to improve the industry, infrastructures and oil and gas fields. 

Chinese companies have lots of capabilities and they are ready to transfer experience and help their Iranian counterparts, Kingston Wen said.

He compared the 21th edition of the exhibition with previous ones and said more international companies are here compared to years ago.

Despite weak industry, Iran enjoys good engineers and educated youth, the official added.

The 21st edition of Iran’s International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, a major exhibition in Iran and the Middle East, kicked off in Tehran on Thursday morning.

Around 1,900 Iranian and foreign companies are attending the show.
