Manager of the Iran office of the Dutch consulting firm CBC Morteza Mohammadi told Shana that the five-day course will be jointly held by IFP Training, the EOR Research Center of National Iranian Oil Company and CBC.
The discovery and production management course will be held from April 19-23 2016 in Paris during which general subjects regarding the chain of oil and gas discovery, production, development and sale will be presented.
Mohammadi said the course is being held for a limited number petroleum executives and a select number of managers will be enrolled for the course.
Representatives of private firms interested in E&P management are eligible to take part in the course.
The course is arranged shortly after a February conference to introduce the finalized version of Iran's new oil contract model, known as IPC (Iran Petroleum Contract), in London.
Mohammadi further said the last day of the course will focus on IPC terms and legal issues.
The training course will coincide with the upcoming 17th International Oil Summit due on April 21 in Paris and, therefore, Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh is also scheduled to attend a meeting on the sidelines of the course, Mohammadi said.
IFP Training offers a variety of practical, industry-focused courses that vary in length, location and delivery method, depending on its customers' training needs.
