Spox: Energy conservation more critical than ever

SHANA (Tehran) – Government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani said energy conservation has become more important than ever due to existing supply imbalances and damage to the country's energy infrastructure during the Third Imposed War.

Speaking Monday during a visit to Ilam province, Mohajerani reflected on developments over the past year, saying Iran had experienced both difficult and proud moments. She cited the recent war, the martyrdom of the country's Leader, and the selection of his son as the new Leader. She said the Iranian people deserved the greatest credit for their resilience during the period, adding that the government was able to fulfill its responsibilities by relying on public support.

Mohajerani said the country would successfully navigate the current challenges through prudent leadership, national unity, the efforts of government officials, the sacrifices of the armed forces and, she said, God's grace.

Addressing energy challenges, she stressed that managing energy consumption is now more essential than ever because of supply imbalances and damage caused during the Third Imposed War. She said conservation should become a public culture alongside government measures so the country can overcome current conditions with public cooperation.
