Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad expressed sympathy to Asgari's family and colleagues at the National Iranian Gas Company, praying for God's mercy upon the deceased and patience and strength for his survivors.

Elias Hazrati, head of the Government Information Council, described Asgari's passing as a significant loss for Iran's public relations and communications community. In his condolence message, Hazrati said Asgari passed away in a road accident while returning from a pilgrimage to the shrines of Imam Hussein in Karbala during the Arbaeen period.

Saeid Tavakoli, deputy oil minister for gas affairs and managing director of the NIGC, said the sudden loss had deeply saddened the company's workforce. He praised Asgari as a dedicated, respected and compassionate colleague whose professionalism, integrity and commitment had earned him the admiration of those who worked with him.

Separately, Saman Qoddousi, director general of public relations and spokesman for the Oil Ministry, said Asgari's passing was a heavy loss for his family, colleagues and Iran's media and communications community. He highlighted Asgari's years of service in public relations and organizational communications, describing him as a principled and devoted public servant.

All four officials extended condolences to Asgari's family, colleagues and the broader NIGC community, while praying for mercy for the deceased and patience for those mourning his loss.
