VP: Service at SP equals frontline dedication

SHANA (Tehran) — Presidential Executive Deputy Mohammad-Jafar Ghaempanah said Monday that the dedication and sacrifice of employees at the South Pars Gas Complex are comparable to those of military personnel defending the country.

Speaking on the sidelines of a visit to the South Pars Gas Complex, Ghaempanah said Iranian specialists have the expertise to restore damaged industrial facilities, including South Pars, and expressed confidence in the country's young engineers and technical workforce.

He said working in the Asaluyeh energy hub involves constant risks, including the possibility of explosions and toxic gas leaks, adding that employees continue to serve despite those dangers.

Ghaempanah said workers in South Pars and Asaluyeh, like members of the armed forces, put their lives at risk while striving to increase production and generate wealth for the country. He praised employees, managers and engineers for their efforts to rebuild infrastructure and support Iran's energy sector.

He also said the commitment and sacrifice of South Pars personnel are no less significant than those of military forces stationed on missile launchers, adding that his visit was intended to thank those who contribute to Iran's development through dedication, expertise and scientific knowledge.
