Paknejad vows Iran will stand firm

SHANA (Tehran) - Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said the country will remain steadfast in the face of its enemies, pledging continued support for Iran's leadership and resilience against external threats.

Speaking on Saturday at the Oil Industry Martyrs' Service Camp, established to assist mourners attending the farewell and funeral ceremonies for the martyred leader, Paknejad paid tribute to the martyred leader, saying his place "will remain forever in our hearts."
He thanked oil industry personnel for providing services to participants at the ceremonies, describing the days following the Leader's martyrdom as "deeply sorrowful and painful."
Paknejad said the Martyred Leader remained committed to his principles throughout his years in office and was respected not only across the Muslim world but also by people who valued freedom and justice.
He described the Martyred Leader as "a clear example of a soul at peace," saying his leadership guided Iran through difficult periods and that his martyrdom ultimately strengthened the Iranian nation.
The oil minister said his visit to the service camp was intended to bid farewell to the Martyred Leader and renew allegiance to his successor, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei. He said Iran would continue striving for the country's progress and would stand firm against hostile attacks by its enemies.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has demonstrated how firmly and resolutely it stands against such enemies," Paknejad said. He attributed Iran's achievements to the country's military capabilities, public support, and national unity under its leadership.
Paknejad also praised Oil Ministry employees for their around-the-clock efforts to operate the service camp despite the hot weather and challenging conditions, saying their work had helped ease the difficulties faced by mourners attending the funeral ceremonies. He wished them continued success and good health.
