Oil Revenues' Targets Realized

TEHRAN August 23 (Shana)--More than 80 percent of targeted oil revenues for the first five months of current Iranian calendar year since March 21 2014 have been realized, deputy minister of Economic Affair and Finance Shapour Mohammadi said.

Speaking at a news conference on Saturday, Mohammadi said the government has been able to materialize its predetermined targets on oil revenues by 80 percent.
He further said 20 percent of oil revenues will be deposited in National Development Fund to be spent in developmental activities across the country.
Fortunately the figures show that production and export of oil have been on the rise which is good news for the economy, Mohammadi told the news conference.
He also noted that the economic package the government has sent to Parliament for ratification and putting behind stagnation will provide enough stimuli for the economy and boost national production.
