“Iran can play a special role in energy supply to Europe,” Nahavandian told a delegation of German businessmen and industrialists in Tehran Tuesday night.
He said that visits by German delegates would help strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
Nahavandian said the wall of mistrust between countries must be broken, saying cooperation must be directed towards “win-win” situation.
“It would be in the interest of Germany to consider Iran as its strong trading partner,” he said, adding that Rouhani’s administration is determined to upgrade its cooperation with all European countries particularly Germany.
He said that a positive atmosphere has been created for trade and economic cooperation between Iran and Germany.
