Fatemeh Mohajerani said Sunday that, while thanking those who safeguard the public’s security, livelihoods and food supply, oil sector workers took important steps during the third imposed war to ensure the country’s energy security.

She added that when the enemy targeted liquid fuel storage facilities in areas including southern and western Tehran province in an effort to disrupt the fuel distribution system, Iran’s oil industry workers thwarted those plans through their commitment and determination.

Mohajerani said the nation owes gratitude to all personnel working in operational zones and at the country’s oil and gas refineries, adding that they preserved Iran’s dignity in the field of energy security.
