Mohsen Zanganeh referred to a Sunday meeting of the parliamentary faction supporting the petrochemical industry, attended by Hassan Abbaszadeh, CEO of the National Petrochemical Company, and several senior executives.
He said the meeting aimed to review damage inflicted on the country’s petrochemical industry during the Ramadan conflict. Lawmakers, the head and members of the petrochemical support faction, and senior officials from the National Petrochemical Company were present.
He added that at the start of the meeting, the company’s CEO presented a report on enemy attacks, the damage caused, measures to supply petrochemical products to downstream industries, and steps taken to rebuild affected facilities. Lawmakers then expressed appreciation for these efforts and shared their views.
Zanganeh stressed that during the meeting, he highlighted the importance of government and parliamentary support for the petrochemical industry and pointed to several measures the government should observe.
