Mohsen Paknejad, Iran’s oil minister, responded to the president’s remarks in a post on his account on the social media platform X.

“The president’s repeated appreciation of the efforts, dedication and sustained service of employees and officials in the oil industry to the noble people of Iran during the recent imposed war is deeply valuable and a source of pride and encouragement,” he wrote. “On behalf of the large family of the oil industry, I emphasize that we stand firmly and wholeheartedly in service of Iran.”
