Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad met Sunday with Science Minister Hossein Simaei-Sarraf to review ways to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry of Oil and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

The ministers also discussed expanding bilateral cooperation to advance national programs and projects, implement infrastructure initiatives, improve administrative processes, and increase coordination among relevant institutions.

Given the tech-based nature of the oil industry, expanding and deepening cooperation between the two ministries could help address many technological needs in the sector and foster stronger ties between industry and academia.
