According to the National Petrochemical Company, CEO Hassan Abbaszadeh made the remarks Thursday during a field visit to complexes in the Petrochemical Special Economic Energy Zone that were hit by hostile attacks of the United States and Israel. He reviewed the extent of the technical damage firsthand.

In meetings with managers and employees, Abbaszadeh praised their resilience and called for accelerating reconstruction efforts. He said the complexes would return to production as quickly as possible through the dedicated work of employees, demonstrating the strength and stability of Iran’s petrochemical industry.

He added that all damages would be repaired using the capabilities and determination of domestic experts.

System launched to assess damages

Abbaszadeh also announced the launch of a system to assess and register damages, saying the government would support affected companies. “We and our colleagues in the Oil Ministry and petrochemical industry stand with you to rebuild these facilities better than before,” he said.

He reiterated that while rebuilding infrastructure is crucial, greater attention must be given to human resources, which he described as the main pillar of the industry.

Abbaszadeh paid tribute to those martyred in the recent attacks and said honoring their families and providing comprehensive support to affected employees should be a top priority for all facilities.

During the visit, he presented a plaque of appreciation to Mohammadreza Motiri, head of the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone Organization, for his crisis management and field leadership. He also visited the tomb of an unidentified martyred soldier in the area to pay his respects.
