In its statement No. 4, the company said the attack occurred around 10 a.m. Wednesday (April 8), by a hostile strike on the refinery facilities.
Emergency response teams are currently working to extinguish the fire and ensure the safety of the installation, the statement said.
No casualties have been reported so far, thanks to the timely evacuation of personnel.
The company emphasized that the country’s fuel supply and distribution network remains stable. It also urged citizens to manage fuel consumption, avoid unnecessary travel and use public transportation to support operations in the sector.
