South Pars refinery employees safe; gas network stable

SHANA (Tehran) - Mohammadreza Julaei, director of coordination and production oversight at the National Iranian Gas Company, announced Wednesday that the recent attack on South Pars gas refineries caused no casualties and that gas production continues safely under stable network conditions.

Speaking on state television, Julaei said that around 2 p.m. local time, parts of South Pars refinery units sustained damage following an attack by the Zionist-American regime.
He confirmed that all personnel are safe and that no injuries occurred. “Our colleagues from the National Iranian Gas Company are on-site, working to restore normal operations,” he said.
Julaei added that gas production remains safe and uninterrupted and that the nationwide gas distribution network is stable. “There are no restrictions on gas delivery across the country, and citizens should not be concerned about supply,” he noted.
He also said the fire has been extinguished and cooling operations are underway. “Some units are being prepared to return to production, and operations are expected to return to normal soon,” Julaei said.
