Speaking on state television, Fatemeh Mohajerani acknowledged the large volume of people visiting gas stations in recent days, attributing the increase to natural crisis behavior as many citizens choose to leave cities.
“This is not strange, and we welcome people being where they have better psychological safety,” Mohajerani said.
She praised gas station employees and oil industry workers for their efforts, stating they successfully managed the situation, ensuring fuel tankers delivered supplies and gasoline was distributed without interruption.
“Right now, gasoline reserves are sufficient,” the spokesperson emphasized.
