Consumption in these sectors on Wednesday (Jan. 28) totaled 658 million cubic meters per day, down 14 million cubic meters from the previous day, Tuesday (Jan. 27).
The National Iranian Gas Company said effective demand management in the household and commercial sectors plays a decisive role in maintaining network stability and ensuring supply to other sectors. The company said setting indoor temperatures in homes and workplaces at 20 degrees Celsius is the simplest and most effective way to curb consumption.
The company urged subscribers to follow optimal consumption patterns and conserve gas to help sustain stable nationwide supply. Observing efficient usage, particularly during cold weather, not only helps maintain network stability but also facilitates gas supply to industrial users.
