117 mcm of natural gas injected into power stations

SHANA (Tehran) - The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company, citing coordinated and optimal performance across the gas production and refining chain, announced the injection of 117 million cubic meters of natural gas into the country's power plants.

According to the Pars Oil and Gas Company, Saeid Tavakoli made the statement Monday on the sidelines of the oil minister's visit to the SPD13A platform in South Pars. Emphasizing operational cohesion in the country's gas industry, he said, "Appropriate coordination has been established from the beginning of the production chain to the output of refineries. This cohesion plays a significant role in the stability of gas supply and safely navigating peak consumption conditions."
He stressed, "The injection of 117 million cubic meters of natural gas into power plants has played a major role in maintaining the stability of the country's electricity and energy network."
The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company, referring to the difficult working conditions of oil industry personnel, said the hardship of the work and the rotational lifestyle impose significant material and moral costs on the industry's employees. This issue doubles the necessity of paying attention to and supporting the oil industry's human capital.
Tavakoli emphasized the need for public cooperation in managing energy consumption, stating, "The people of Iran are perceptive and, by correctly understanding the conditions, cooperate with the government in the path of energy conservation."
