An analysis of consumption patterns shows that colder weather has driven a steady increase in household gas use, pushing it ahead of other sectors in the national gas network.

Data from the National Iranian Gas Company indicate that households, commercial users and small industries consumed a total of 661.38 million cubic meters of gas on Saturday, Dec. 20.

Forecasts suggest that household consumption will continue to rise in the coming days as temperatures fall further. Observing optimal consumption practices will play a key role in ensuring stable gas supply throughout the cold season.
