In the order, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad cited Mohammadi’s commitment, expertise and professional record as the basis for the appointment.

The decree calls on the minister’s deputies and the chief executives of affiliated companies to fully cooperate and coordinate with Mohammadi in carrying out his assigned responsibilities.

The minister expressed hope that Mohammadi would succeed in his duties with reliance on God.
