TEHRAN -- The offshore operations of Iran"s South Pars (SP) phases 9-10 will end by late October, said an Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) official on Wednesday.

The project will be exploited after loading the platforms" pillars and installing the heavy platforms in August, Majid Shamlu, IOEC planning director told Mehr.

The project will not face any specific problems as the onshore operations have encountered, he predicted.

The shore pulling operations of the South Pars (SP) phases 17-18 pipelines started, said Mohammadreza Purzarrabi, IOEC planning manager.

He predicted that the C-master vessel will end the five-km-long pipe-laying operations of the phases, extending to the end of trench end, before June 11.

Accounting for 48 percent, 31 percent, and 21 percent, the Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO), Oil Industrial Engineering and Construction (OIEC), and IOEC respectively constitute the consortium members of the phases" project.
