TEHRAN – Arsanjan-Kerman gas transmission line would pump 40 million cubic meters of energy carrier per day when it was fully put into operation in the near future, said the manager project.

Saeid Sotoudeh told PIN the project had neared the exploitation stage and would come on stream at a desirable time before the cold season.

“The gas line is divided into two parts,” said the official, adding, “The first section, Arsanjan-Kerman line, is 242 km long that transfers gas through a 42-inch pipeline and fourth national line from Arsanjan to Pariz and the second links to Bandar Abbas-Kerman gas transmission line.”

Sotoudeh said the transmission line was constructed with investments of 141 million dollars and 300 billion rials (32.4 million dollars) through buyback method and it would meet Kerman Province’s need within the next 20 years.

According to him, 75 percent of equipment of Arsanjan-Kerman pipeline was made inside the country and 25 percent was exported.
