Hossein Abed added that Iran had signed the contract of installing three offshore drilling rigs.

Totally three contracts were signed on construction of five offshore rigs, of which four would go to Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) and one to Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), he said.

Abed announced IOEC’s readiness to increase the number of IOOC’s and POGC’s rigs.
