Mohsen Paknejad made the remarks after meeting with Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilyov and Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller, following up on discussions held during the recent meeting of the presidents of Iran and Russia at the Shanghai summit.

“The outcomes of the 18th joint commission, which was held in Moscow, required further follow-up, and this meeting allowed us to examine them more thoroughly,” Paknejad said.

He added that several areas of cooperation needed review and dialogue, which were revisited and brought to conclusions.

Regarding the 19th commission, Paknejad said discussions were held on the timing and agenda of the session. “Details will be announced at the appropriate time,” he added.
