During a visit by officials to the complex's development projects, Sepahdar Ansari-Nik highlighted the company's achievements, including the 36% production growth, record-breaking exports, foreign currency generation and job creation.
He stated, "Some projects require permits from the national and provincial environmental organizations, and we hope this process will be expedited with the support of the honorable governor."
Ansari-Nik noted the company's significant contributions in education, healthcare, culture and urban services, including a 10 billion tomans donation to Khorseif Port, funding for sports and educational complexes, and the reconstruction of Bandar Imam Khomeini’s prayer hall at a cost of over 10 billion tomans, set to open by Ordibehesht (April-May). He added that the company's total social responsibility contributions over the past three years have reached nearly 500 billion tomans.
Regarding the company's involvement in solving Mahshahr’s water and wastewater issues, Ansari-Nik said a 50 billion rials contribution to the wastewater treatment plant project was approved, with part of the amount allocated for execution. The company has also pledged support for pipeline supply and engineering design.
Emphasizing the employment of local workers, he said 91% of the complex's workforce are locals, with over 60% from Mahshahr County and nearby towns. Additionally, 86% of winning contractors in capital projects were from Mahshahr and surrounding cities, reflecting the company's commitment to localization.

Mohammadreza Mavalizadeh, the governor general of Khuzestan, praised the company's performance during his visit, stating, "This company has taken commendable actions and has solid development plans. We will assist in advancing these programs."
He stressed the role of industrial complexes in wealth generation and national interests, adding, "Alongside national interests, we must also consider local benefits and address surrounding environmental challenges."
The governor general emphasized the importance of hiring local workers to achieve balanced development and urged petrochemical companies to view social responsibility not as a cost but as an investment.
