This heater, which is responsible for heating hot oil in the sulfuric acid concentration process, was previously sourced from foreign suppliers. However, with its design, manufacturing, and performance validation by domestic engineering teams, the technology has now entered operational service.
The project, aimed at reducing operational costs, saving foreign currency, and eliminating reliance on foreign suppliers, has also brought benefits such as lower maintenance costs and increased operational reliability.
Meanwhile, Arvand Petrochemical Company, a leader in domestic parts localization and recognized as the most Iranian chlorine PVC (CPVC) chain, plans to localize other key equipment in the coming years. The company aims to establish the largest CPVC supply chain in West Asia, providing the necessary technologies and equipment for Iran’s petrochemical industry.
