Speaking on Wednesday, during a meeting to review production plans for the National Iranian South Oil Company, Hamid Bovard expressed gratitude to all colleagues for their positive performance this year.
He highlighted the successful outcomes achieved in the southern oil-rich regions.
Bovard noted that production plans for the Iranian calendar year 1404 (2025-2026) were reviewed during the meeting, adding, "The necessary planning to meet production needs has been completed, and favorable reports have been presented, enabling us to continue production and development in the southern oil-rich regions with greater strength and capability."
The NIOC CEO emphasized that maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of facilities, particularly in the gas sector, must be carried out in the first half of the next year, and the sales process should continue robustly.
Bovard stressed the importance of implementing major projects under the seventh development plan, including pressure enhancement, gas field development, and the integrated development of oil fields in West Karoun.
He noted, "We have initiated very large projects for the integrated development of West Karun. Diverse plans have been developed to increase and maintain production in the oil-rich regions, and this entity continues to play a key role as the largest subsidiary of the oil industry."
In conclusion, Bovard expressed satisfaction with the highly favorable reports presented during the meeting, stating, "Seasonal programs are being followed to monitor progress, and the reports indicate that in the year 1404, we will also have good news in the field of oil production."
