In this meeting, while referring to the visit of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to Tehran, he declared this trip as a turning point in the relations between the two countries.
Venezuela's Minister of Oil El-Aissami, referring to Iran's many experiences in the field of energy and technology, expressed his desire to transfer these experiences to Venezuela and closer cooperation in the field of oil, and considered the cooperation in this field to enhance the position of the two countries in the world.
The parties also introduced the strategic document signed during Madero's visit to Tehran as a road map for Iran-Venezuela relations and emphasized on speeding up the implementation of past understandings and using opportunities.
