According to the National Petrochemical Company, the polypropylene unit of Di Aria Polymer (Khomein Petrochemical Plant) officially came online on Friday with an annual capacity of 175,000 tons in the presence of Morteza Shahmirzaei, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and the CEO of the National Petrochemical Company.

17 grades of homopolymer and 11 grades of copolymer will be produced in this petrochemical unit, and the feedstock for the plant will be supplied from Shazand Arak Refinery, which provides about 17% of the polypropylene required by the country's downstream industries.

According to the forecasts, 350 direct jobs and 1,200 indirect jobs will be created with the operation of this polypropylene unit in Khomein County.
