Lordegan Petchem Plant Marks 1500% Growth in Q1 Sales

TEHRAN (Shana) -- Lordegan Petrochemical Plant sold 157,000 tons of urea in the first quarter of the current calendar year, which began on March 21, showing 1,500% growth year-on-year.

The company also reaped Rls. 31 billion by selling its products during the period.

According to Persian Gulf Petrochemical Complementary Industries Development and Investment|Group, the plant sold Rls. 31 billion worth of goods during the first quarter of the year of which Rls. 12 billion was sold in the month of Khordad (the third month in the Iranian calendar- May 22 to June 21). The company’s sales exceeded its output indicating that they tapped their inventories to meet the market demand for the items they produce.

The sale of more than 156,000 tons of urea granules and about 4,600 tons of ammonia was registered in the report of the first three months of 1401 of Lordegan Petrochemical Plant.

The company is currently operating at 80% of its installed capacity.
