Export of 345,000 tons of LPG from Siraf Pars Port

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The operator of Siraf Pars port announced the export of 345,000 tons of liquefied natural gas from the refineries of site 2 of South Pars by January 20.

According to Pars Oil and Gas Company, Payam Motamed, during a visit by a delegation from the political deputy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting to the South Pars Energy Special Economic Zone, referred to the start of operation of Siraf Pars port Pars, and said: “Since the beginning of loading and exporting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Siraf Pars port, 12 ships have been loaded and a total of 345,000 tons of propane and butane gas worth more than $210 million have been loaded and exported.”

The operator of Siraf Pars port, stating that this terminal has the capacity to receive LPG and sulfur products produced by Kangan refineries and petroleum refineries located in Pars 2, said: "500,000 tons of liquefied natural gas is supplied through LPG loading docks of the port.”
