According to the National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC), Behnoud Mansournejad, Deputy Director of Research, Technology and Engineering of NIDC, said: “The manufacture of Stop Ring, which is one of the hook & Traveling BLook parts of a drilling machine, has been localized with the cooperation of the Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz.”

He added: This item was made by forging method and optimizing the raw material compared to its foreign sample by the engineering group of the university and under the supervision of Quality Control and Construction Engineering, Technology Research and Construction Engineering of National Iranian Drilling Company.

He said the item has received the necessary approvals, adding that NIDC has an effective and continuous cooperation with most universities in the country.

Mansournejad stated: “Cooperation of the National Iranian Drilling Company with scientific and research centers, knowledge-based companies and domestic builders and craftsmen has so far led to the localization of 22,000 items.
